Nalanda will be organising our annual ‘Family Fun Fair’ on 24 August 2014 to raise funds for our Building & Development Fund, and to support educational programmes of Nalanda Free School, Nalanda Dharma School and Nalanda Institute.  The theme for this year’s fair is ‘Building for the Community’, in line with our current building expansion project in Sri Serdang.

In the past decade, both spiritual and secular educational programmes offered by Nalanda have benefited more than 15,800 children, youths and adults throughout Malaysia.  This year, in response to the increasing demand for Nalanda’s education programmes, we are expanding our principal Sri Serdang centre to twice its size.  The funds will be used to build adequate classrooms and provide better learning resources to benefit the entire community.

We invite you to join us for a meaningful and fun day with your family and friends at the ‘Family Fun Fair’.  Be a part of this joyous event while contributing to this noble cause by:

• Buying ‘Family Fun Fair’ coupons at RM10 per booklet;

• Helping us to sell the coupons;

• Making a donation to the event;

• Making a direct donation to Nalanda Buddhist Society;

• Setting up a stall to sell food or suitable merchandise at the event.

In addition, you can also help by:

• Serving as a volunteer; and

• Bringing your relatives and friends to the ‘Family Fun Fair’.
