Nalandians from outside the Klang Valley who are in Selangor to participate in the inaugural National Members’ Convention from 1 – 3 May took time to explore Kuala Lumpur on Friday. Early in the morning, everyone embarked on a “Heritage Walk” exploring the old streets of KL with its rich history and tapestry of peoples and cultures.

After the walk, Nalandians visited Sentul Sri Lanka Buddhist Temple to pay respects to its abbot, Ven. Sri Saranankara Nayaka Thero, who received everyone ever so warmly and full of kindness!

In the afternoon, the delegation had lunch at Nalanda Book Café in Sri Petaling before proceeding to NEO Centre Happy Garden for a visit and sharing session.  It was another wonderful day for everyone from the North, South and Central Malaysia to get to know each other better, and to enjoy being with fellow Nalandians!  Sadhu.

The visit to NEO Centre, KL is hosted by officers of Nalanda KL branch, led by Bro. Eugene Yong.
