Nalanda youths leave for pilgrimage

Nalanda youths leave for pilgrimage

The youths gathered at KLIA early Tuesday morning to embark on their first-ever ‘Dhammayatra’

Early in the morning of Tuesday 21 November, 40 Buddhist youths left Kuala Lumpur International Airport to begin a two-week ‘Dhammayatra’ (pilgrimage) to India and Nepal.  Led by Nalanda founder Bro. Tan, everyone embarked on this spiritual journey with joyful thoughts and motivation.

Dhammayatra’ is not a usual tour but rather a journey of faith with insightful learning, reflection, and spiritual growth as we retrace the path taken by our Enlightened Teacher 2,600 years ago.  We rejoice in this wholesome and meaningful endeavour by the youths and wish all pilgrims a safe and successful journey.  Sadhu anumodana!
