The group of compassionate youths!

On Sunday 15 February, Nalanda Youths visited the Tong Sim Senior Citizen Care Centre at Kampung Baru Salak Selatan, Kuala Lumpur.  The youths were there to offer their services to the home and its inmates in view of the Lunar New Year.

The youths helped to clean the Centre upon arrival.  Some inmates even shared their stories with the youths while they were doing chores.  Before the youths left, they put up Chinese New Year decorations and performed a few songs to lift up the spirits of the seniors, besides presenting them with gifts.

The youths later had a reflection session with Sis. Sunanda, who reminded them not to be heedless in life when pondering over the four sights (birth, old age, sickness and death); and do not commit any unwholesome actions that will lead to painful results for oneself or others.
