On Friday, 29 January Nalandians came together to express their deep gratitude for Nalanda founder Bro. Tan for his invaluable guidance and wise counsel throughout the year.  In the best of Buddhist traditions, before “taking leave” for the New Year break, Nalandians also sought forgiveness from Bro. Tan, their teacher and mentor, who has worked tirelessly for the benefit of the Buddhist community.

Bro. Tan advised Nalandians to celebrate the coming Chinese New Year meaningfully and spiritually; giving and receiving joyfully; and to be mindful of others’ kindness and generosity.  May all beings be well and happy this festive season!
