Photographer Paul Cher captured this scenery among many others during his month-long sojourn in India with Bro.Tan earlier this year. A selection of meaningful photographs of temples and people will be exhibited for the first time at Nalanda Centre Sri Serdang from 1 to 3 May, in conjunction with Wesak Observance.
On Saturday 4 April, the monthly educational ‘Pindacāra’ Programme at Sri Petaling and Happy Garden markets was held with three venerable Sangha members going on alms-round. Nalanda Founder, Bro. Tan, volunteers and devotees participated joyfully in offering food to the Sangha members.

On Sunday 29 March, Nalandians came together at Nalanda Centre in their white shirts and sarong in conjunction with “Samaggi Day”, which falls on the last Sunday of every month. Nalandians and devotees were delighted when Founder Bro. Tan came to give a short sharing on “Samaggi”, which means unity and harmony.

As the Centre was expanded through the generosity of the public, we wish that the community would benefit from this initiative and enjoy a spiritually-charged visit. The ‘Open Day’ was hosted by Bro. Members who attended the gathering were glad to have Bro. Tan’s presence during the meeting. Branch Committee Member Dr. Aw shared his reflections on the “Mūlapariyāya Sutta” with the gathering. After which, Dr. Song led an interactive discussion session on the topics from Venerable Ajahn Jayasaro’s book – “Without and Within”.
