The three basic training that will guide us on our spiritual path are Sila (Morality), Samadhi (Concentration) and Pañña (Wisdom). The practices of Sila focus on right speech, right action and right livelihood of the Noble Eightfold Path.
Read moreOn Saturday 17 January, Nalandians, volunteers and supporters were joyfully setting up the venue to welcome the first ‘Pindacāra’ (alms-round) at Seri Kembangan market in 2015. Two venerable monks from Sri Lanka Buddhist Temple, Sentul were invited to partake in the alms-round. Traders and market-goers were happily waiting in-line at the ‘Pindacāra’ route, to offer cooked food to the monks. The venerable monks conducted blessings for devotees and volunteers to conclude the alms-round.

On Sunday 11 January, devotees and parents were glad to attend a ‘welcoming’ Induction programme after the morning session of meditation, Pūja and chanting. The 5-session programme aims to provide the essential knowledge on living in accordance with the Dhamma for the participants.
