On Sunday 12 January, Nalanda Dharma School held its first meeting with parents of new students registered for 2014. The meeting aimed at briefing parents about Nalanda’s educational philosophy, and to provide an avenue for parents to share their thoughts and views.
On Saturday 11 January, 18 graduates of BPS 302 Certificate in Buddhist Studies (2013) gathered for a “Dhamma Chat” reunion at Nalanda Centre. This session aimed at continuing the momentum for us to learn the Dhamma. Read more
Nalanda Buddhist Society Kuala Lumpur Branch held its inaugural General Meeting of members (AGM) on 11 January, at Nalanda Education & Outreach (NEO) Centre in Happy Garden. The pivotal agenda of this AGM was the election of the Branch Management Committee for 2014 – 2016. Nalandians voted for a set of leaders that retained the key offices of Chairman and Deputy Chairman. The whole election proceeded joyfully.

The monthly alms-round allows lay people to do good deeds with kind intentions and actions. Cheerfulness was what we saw from the faces of the elderly and the young.
