Branch Chairman Bro. Khaw Seng Giap offered thanks and appreciation to members and benefactors.

On Saturday 25 October, Nalanda Sungai Petani Branch held our monthly Members’ Day at our usual rendezvous place – Gurun Buddhist Association.  Branch members who attended the gathering were still feeling joyful over the recent success of our inaugural fund-raising event – the “Melodies for the Heart” concert held a week before that.

Branch Chairman Bro. Khaw Seng Giap offered thanks and deep appreciation to Nalandians, volunteers, sponsors, donors, and everyone who has contributed in various ways to the success of event.  We also took turns to share our experience and reflection regarding the event.

After which, Sis. Goh (a.k.a. Mrs. Teoh) gave a Dhamma-sharing from the excerpt of Ven. Ajahn Jayasaro’s book – “Without and Within”.  The day ended beautifully with meditation and the dedication of merits to all beings.  Sadhu anumodana.
