On Saturday, 21 November, BPS303 – Certificate in Buddhist Studies participants sat for the written examination which was held concurrently at Nalanda Centre and Kota Bharu Mettarama Centre in Kelantan. It was the last hurdle for the participants who had been diligently attending lectures and completing their personal and group assignments since the course started in early July.

Just before the commencement of the examination, there was a short meditation to help the 64 examinees compose themselves, after which Nalanda founder Bro. Tan came to offer words of encouragement and a blessing. All too soon, the signal to the end of the 90-minute examination was sounded and it was pens down for the examinees.

The participants expressed their gratitude to Nalanda Institute lecturers, officers and volunteers for their dedication and support and for facilitating a learning environment which was conducive to their study of the Dhamma. We congratulate the participants for staying the course and completing their Certificate in Buddhist Studies. Sadhu!
