On Saturday 31 August, over 150 Nalanda members, devotees and students came together on Memorial Day to pay tribute to our late Spiritual Advisor, Ven. K. Sri Dhammananda. Even though it has been 18 years since his passing, his exemplary life and advice continues to resonate strongly with his direct disciples and the many who learned Dhamma through his books and talks.
Bro. Tan Siang Chye recollected heartfelt memories of ‘Late Chief’ who embodied the values of peace and kindness in every aspect of his life. His efforts to relay the Buddha’s teachings while building harmonious connections within Buddhist communities and across different faiths laid a strong foundation which continues to benefit all of us today.
Early in the morning, Nalanda members and devotees gathered at K. Sri Dhammananda Centre for flag raising.
