Pindacāra at Seri Kembangan Morning Market

On Saturday 15 March, Nalanda volunteers and devotees participated happily in our monthly Pindacāra (monks going on alms-round) at Jalan Besar morning market in Seri Kembangan. We were honoured to have 3 monks on alms-round, including Ven. Sri Saranankara Nayaka Thero, the Abbot of Sri Lanka Buddhist Temple.

The day began at 7.30am with Pūja and chanting at Nalanda Centre before proceeding to the morning market. Devotees and market-goers gladly took the opportunity to perform meritorious deed of offering alms to the venerables. Ven. Sri Saranankara led the dedication of merits and the recitation of blessings for passengers of MH370 after the alms-round at the car park. Sadhu anumodana!
