Pindacāra at Sri Petaling and Happy Garden Markets

Pindacāra at Sri Petaling and Happy Garden Markets

Devotees lining in queue to offer food to the venerables.

On Saturday 5 April, Nalandians and devotees gathered at the Sri Petaling market for the first time there for the monthly Pindacāra (monks going on alms-round) despite the early morning drizzle.  We were honoured to have 3 venerables from the Sri Lanka Buddhist Temple to participate in the alms-round.

After the Sri Petaling market, the venerable monks were at the Happy Garden market to continue with the pindacāra.  Sis. Nandini Tan gave a Mandarin Dhamma sharing at NEO Centre in Happy Garden, followed by a Lunch Danā to the Sangha members.

We would like to thank all Nalandians and devotees for participating in the Pindacāra.  May the results of such meaningful deeds be shared with all beings.  Sadhu anumodana!
