On Sunday 1 December, a team of 12 Nalandians attended a “Building Fund-Raising Luncheon” organized by Serdang Buddhist Association at Hee Lai Ton Restaurant, Seri Kembangan.  From its humble beginnings 24 years ago, Serdang Buddhist Association has contributed much to the community through various programmes and activities.  As part of their expansion plan, a new building to cater for the Association’s activities is being planned.

In the spirit of close friendship, the Nalanda team attended the luncheon to support our fellow Buddhist neighbours.  Nalanda youths also contributed to the day’s programme by performing inspirational Buddhist Hymns.

On behalf of Nalanda Buddhist Society, we would like to congratulate Serdang Buddhist Association for the success of their fund-raising event, and for taking another progressive step towards realizing their new building aspiration.  We look forward to meaningful collaboration between our two Buddhist Societies in propagating the Buddha-Dhamma for the benefit and happiness of many.  Sadhu anumodana!
