Over 400 search and rescue personnel is involved. May they work safely and recover the missing victims as soon as possible.

A tragic landslide which struck the camping grounds around an organic farm in Batang Kali has claimed 21 lives.  Nearly half a million cubic metres of soil swept from the edge of the Batang Kali-Genting Highlands trunk in the early morning of Friday 16 December, after the incessant rains.  Of the 94 people believed to be caught in the landslide, 61 are now safe while 12 are still missing.

Search and rescue operations have resumed this morning following an overnight suspension due to the weather.   Let us direct our thoughts to the victims of this tragedy; may those that are missing be safely found.  We pray for those who lost their lives in the tragedy; and may the injured recover soonest.  Sotthi.
