Just two weeks after the 8th anniversary of MH370’s disappearance, another tragic air-crash has taken place in Wuzhou, China. The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAA) has confirmed that Flight MU5735 of China Eastern Airlines crashed in a mountainous region in Wuzhou of Guangxi province. The plane was carrying 132 people on board including 123 passengers and 9 crew members.
The Boeing 737-800 jet had left Kunming at 13:11 local time and was scheduled to arrive in Guangzhou at 15:05. The number of casualties remains unclear and emergency services have been deployed to assist in rescue operations. The last domestic crash China experienced happened in 2010 when Henan Airlines Flight 8387 crashed in Yichun, Heilongjiang province with 42 casualties.
