We are happy to announce that Pustaka Nalanda is now open to the community after the completion of upgrade and maintenance works.  In a simple ceremony, the library was re-opened by Ven. B. Sri Saranankara and Director of Pustaka Nalanda Bro. Ananda Fong together with the Society’s leaders on Saturday 31 August.

The ceremony took place after observing the Memorial Day for Nalanda’s late Spiritual Advisor Ven. K. Sri Dhammananda.  21 years ago in this very hall, the late Venerable presided over the launching of Nalanda Dharma Centre, the humble beginning of Nalanda Buddhist Society.

Director of Nalanda Centre Sis. Nandini Tan shared about the importance of improving our facilities to support Buddhist Education effectively.
