Over the weekend of 14 – 16 November, 18 facilitators from Nalanda Dharma School Sri Serdang and KL Branch were at Port Dickson for a fruitful three-day annual retreat. The aim of the retreat was to review the School’s performance throughout the year and the 2015 School structure and programmes were discussed.
The Nalanda Education Model was shared by Sis. Sunanda, Director of Dharma School. Pūja, chanting and meditation sessions were performed every morning and evening to deepen our faith and inner strength. Many interesting team building games were conducted to promote ‘kalyāna mittatā’ (spiritual friendship) and ‘samaggi’ (unity and concord). Facilitators were grateful for the support they found in each other.
It was indeed a harmonious and fruitful retreat. The retreat ended with much accomplishment and plenty of learning. We are motivated, recharged and looking forward to serve the community better in the coming year!
