Sangha Day B.E. 2568

Sangha Day B.E. 2568

We invite you and your family members to join us in observing ‘Sangha Day’ at Nalanda.  This is an important occasion for Buddhists to honour the virtues and contributions of the monastic community.  Devotees express gratitude to monks and nuns who strive diligently in practising the Dhamma, and teaching it for the benefit of mankind.

On ‘Sangha Day’, we can make offerings to meet the needs of the Sangha and with these meritorious actions, dedicate them to our loved ones and the dearly departed.  To support the Sangha community, you may make donations towards the ‘Sangha Fund’ for their educational, health and supportive needs, and also offer robes and requisites.  To contribute, please register in this link https://forms.gle/uBEc4gNK8J1hxzDZA or contact Nalanda Office at 03-8938 1500.

The service will commence at 9am with meditation, chanting and a Dhamma talk by Sis. Paruadi Ramasamy on the importance of the Sangha community.  After the offerings of requisites to the Sangha, we will also offer lunch dana to the venerable monastics.  All are welcome.
