Venerable Wei Wu, a senior Mahāyāna bhikshu and Abbot of Than Hsiang Temple in Penang will be anchoring the seminar.

Than Hsiang Foundation Malaysia is organising a seminar on Saturday 19 August themed, ‘Face to Face & Heart to Heart’, featuring Venerable Wei Wu, the abbot of Than Hsiang Temple.  The dialogue will be moderated by former Director of Nalanda Institute Achariya Vijaya Samarawickrama, and Buddhist stalwart Bro. Benny Liow.

Nalanda Institute Malaysia and a few local Buddhist organizations are co-organising the seminar, which aims to provide an opportunity for English-speaking Buddhists in the Klang Valley to clear their misconceptions about Mahāyāna Buddhism, and to allow for a discussion on contemporary issues affecting the Malaysian Buddhist community.  This will also foster inter-sectarian understanding and unity among local Buddhists.

We invite you to attend this FREE dialogue in an effort to clarify doubts and misconceptions about common Mahāyāna practices. However, prior registration is required at REGISTER HERE.  The closing date for registration is 31 July.  All are welcome!
