On Sunday, 14 July, Bro. Tan was invited to Shah Alam Buddhist Society (SABS) for a sharing with their newly-elected office bearers on the qualities and roles of Buddhist leadership.  In his welcoming speech, the President of SABS Dato’ Vincent Lim emphasised the importance of having good leaders to propel Buddhist organisations forward and to fulfill the mission of propagating the Dhamma.

Bro. Tan gave a good account of what leadership is about, and how a Buddhist organisation can grow its human resource by providing quality and holistic Buddhist education.  Bro. Andrew Lee and Bro. Chan Zhen Shun who accompanied Bro. Tan to SABS were also invited to share their views on how they have benefited from receiving Buddhist education.

Key leaders and office-bearers of SABS attended and greatly appreciated the talk by the Nalandians.
