Spending time Wisely and Fruitfully

Nalanda Dharma School students attending to monks while visiting Santi Forest Monastery in Johor.

Students at Nalanda Dharma School are making full use of their current school holidays to learn Dhamma and to serve the community.  After coming back from a teenagers’ learning camp in Johor Bahru a week ago, many of them left again on 10 June to help organise another camp in Kelantan from 12 to 14 June.

While in Johor last weekend, our students visited Santī Forest Monastery in Ulu Tiram to perform dāna.  They also spent time cleaning up the meditation centre.  Anumodana to our spirited young Nalandians for spending your holiday wisely, fruitfully, and joyfully!

Students also visited and performed services at NEO Centre Johor Bahru.

“Time flows in one direction only. Once past, it never returns. Therefore we must spend time wisely and fruitfully. Do not be lazy; be heedful and diligent.”
