About Annual General Meetings and Extraordinary General Meetings of Nalanda Buddhist Society and its branches.
Nalanda Buddhist Society members based in Sri Serdang had a successful Extraordinary General Meeting (E.G.M.) on Saturday, 11 November. The E.G.M. was called by the Board of Management to propose amendments to the Society’s Constitution. During the meeting, the Board also sought members’ endorsement to purchase a van for the use of Dhamma School students and for outreach programmes.

During the meeting held at NEO Centre Happy Garden, members were given updates on the Branch’s development in 2016 as well as upcoming plans for this year. As customary, the meeting was preceded by paying homage to the Buddha, Dhamma and Sangha at the main Shrine Hall of Nalanda Centre, followed by ‘Achariya-abhivādana’ – paying respects to our late spiritual adviser, Ven. K. Sri Dhammananda, at Sumangala Room.
