Service comes in all forms and encompasses the subtle virtue of selflessness. We would usually start our service with doing what we enjoy or prefer doing, and then progress to do what we are able to do. When we feel truly connected to the cause, we commit ourselves to do what is needed with a sense of nobility and purpose. The more selfless we become, the more joyful and meaningful we feel.

Dhammavuddho founded Vihara Buddha Gotama, a forest monastery in Perak that serves as a training facility for monks and those aspiring to be monks, as well as for the laity to study and practise Dhamma.
