On Saturday 21 June, the Buddhist Community Alliance* (BCA) organized a “People Engagement Workshop” – the third in a series of such workshops for Buddhist community leaders. The workshop was held at Kinrara Metta Buddhist Society (KMBS) in Bandar Kinrara, Puchong. Its objective was to establish a protocol and system of “People Engagement” for gradual adoption. A handbook on “People Engagement” will be published as a guide for implementing it in the respective participating organisations.

At the meeting, the previous rotating chairman and President of Kinrara Metta Buddhist Society Bro. Tan Kim Chan, formally handed over the chairmanship to Bro. Lee Kong Foo, President of Nalanda Buddhist Society. Also present were President of Seremban Sudhamma Buddhist Society Dr. Oo Swee Khoon, Bro. Henry Wong of Sungai Long Buddhist Society, and representatives from BCA member organisations.
