This trip is a wholesome start to their year-end school holidays as it promises much learning and community service.

Joanne, and youths helped to pack food for the needy at Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) Sungai Long campus. The event was organised by the UTAR Sungai Long Buddhist Society, in collaboration with the international hunger-relief organisation, ‘Stop Hunger Now’.

Some had come days earlier to clean and spruce up the Centre after the week-long break. Everyone is delighted to see each other, and filled with enthusiasm to continue serving the community.
Read moreNalanda Buddhist Society is intending to construct a purpose-built Buddhist education centre located in Sri Serdang for teenagers and children, to be operational by August 2017. The proposed facility will have a capacity for 100 students, and will be operated by Nalanda Dhamma School.
