From 3 to 8 April, we joyfully hosted Ven. Sayadaw Sangharakkhita on his maiden visit to Nalanda. Sayadaw, who hails from Korea and served as a Kammaṭṭhānācariya (meditation teacher) and Vinaya (monastic discipline) instructor for monks at Black River Monastery, Myanmar, afforded Nalanda members and devotees many opportunities to reflect on the Buddha’s teachings and cultivate the virtue of generosity over these 6 days.

The students explored the theme ‘Path of Togetherness’ as they developed stronger bonds of friendship and the beginnings of a peer community.
