On Sunday 19 February, Nalanda Dhamma School organised an outing for facilitators and students to Taman Putra Perdana in Putrajaya. 104 teenagers and children from Sri Serdang and Kuala Lumpur branches spent a healthy and fun day out with their Dhamma friends, while learning the important values of good friendship and loving-kindness.

Read moreDuring the recent school holidays, 75 Nalanda Dhamma School students from Sri Serdang and Johor Bahru were privileged to go on a study tour of Kedah’s historical sites and learn about the state’s amazing connection with early Buddhism, going back some 2,100 years! The tour, which ran from 7 – 10 June, was led by Bro. Tan, an acknowledged expert on Buddhist history. Among the interesting places visited were Semeling Jetty Complex; Bujang Valley Archaeological Museum in Merbok; as well as Wat Nikrodharam and Rumah Merdeka in Alor Setar.

The 4-day camp was attended by 122 students from all over the East-Coast state. School Director Sis. Sunanda led her team of 8 facilitators and youths to assist in running the holiday camp.
