Come for a joyful day at Family Fun Fair

Come one, come all to Nalanda Family Fun Fair!  The Fair has just been launched at 9am this morning, and over 150 stalls are now serving family, friends and the community.  In addition to the wide variety of food, beverages and grocery items, there are also games stalls and performances by our students and talented groups.

Friends from across Malaysia arrive for Family Fun Fair

This afternoon, we joyfully welcomed Nalanda members and volunteers who started their journey from our Johor Bahru, Sungai Petani and Kelantan branches early this morning.  Energetic and ready to serve, we are truly warmed by their earnest efforts to travel hundreds of kilometres in order to support the Family Fun Fair.

4 days to Family Fun Fair : how to get to the Fair

There are a number of ways to get to Nalanda Centre for the Family Fun Fair this Sunday 28 July.  For friends taking the MRT Putrajaya line which covers areas from Kwasa Damansara, Kepong Baru, Jalan Ipoh, KLCC, to Putrajaya Sentral, alight at the UPM Station which is just 1 km or a 13-minute minute walk from Nalanda Centre.

180 care bags offered to Welfare Homes

Yesterday, on Monday 22 July, Nalanda members and volunteers got together to deliver some care and kindness to residents of Pusat Jagaan Rumah Juara and PJ Caring Home.  180 care bags with daily use items and food were gifted to each resident of the welfare homes, together with groceries and a wholesome home-cooked lunch.

6 days to Family Fun Fair – volunteers are ready to welcome you

Family Fun Fair volunteers are all ready to welcome and serve the community this Sunday 28 July, having completed the Volunteer Briefing sessions held in the past two weeks, in high spirits.  Volunteers across all the teams including logistics, stall managers, stall assistants and youths are now familiarised with their duties and look forward to extending their support as well as they can. 10 days to Family Fun Fair

The Family Fun Fair is just around the corner – it’s next Sunday 28 July!  Preparations are fully ramped up as Nalanda members, youths, students and volunteers meet almost daily to prepare their offerings, finalise stall layouts and logistics these few days.  Fun Fair Volunteers are also getting ready as they gather for a briefing session this Sunday 1pm at Nalanda Centre.
