Free School students show their appreciation

To conclude a fruitful 2024 academic year at Nalanda Free School, its teachers, volunteers, students and their family members gathered on Saturday 7 December for the annual Appreciation Night. With much gratitude for the School’s teachers and volunteers for supporting the students’ development both academically and morally, students put their best foot forward in performances whilst parents shared heartfelt words of thanks.

Free School students’ learning & service trip

On Saturday, 21 September, Nalanda Free School organised a learning trip for its students. The group of 30 students and teachers travelled to Kuala Kubu Bahru and joined volunteers there for service to learn and cultivate the values of teamwork and kindness.

On Sunday 11 August, Nalanda Free School teachers gathered to discuss the progress of the School and upcoming programmes.  School Principal, Dr. Ng Chwee Fang extended her heartfelt gratitude to everyone for their support at the recent Family Fun Fair, and welcomed new teachers to the community.

Nalanda Free School teachers meeting to start 2024 School year

On Saturday 16 March,  Nalanda Free School welcomed all its teachers for their first meeting of this academic year.  The School’s Principal Dr. Ng Chwee Fang shared that over 150 students have registered and the School will help them not only in their secular subjects, but also in the key areas - knowledge, skills, values and cultures.

Free School welcomes new students to 2024 intake

This week, Nalanda Free School teachers and volunteers welcomed a new intake of over 150 students for the 2024 academic year at Sri Serdang.  The School which offers free tuition to needy students, operates with a low student to teacher ratio in order to extend more personalised help to students.

Free School honours teachers & celebrates students

On the evening of Saturday 2 December, Nalanda Centre welcomed Free School teachers, volunteers, students and their parents for the merry occasion of the School’s Honour & Appreciation Night.  After a fruitful academic year, everyone came together to show their gratitude to the teachers, and to celebrate the students’ success stories.  Categories of awards presented to students by the teachers themselves were “Best Student Award” and “Most Improved Student Award”.

JB Free School Appreciation Night

On Monday 20 November, Nalanda Free School Johor Bahru teachers, students and parents gathered for the annual ‘Appreciation Night’.  Sis. Alice Yap, Coordinator of the Free School in JB hosted this joyful event to celebrate the progress of the students throughout the year, recognising improvements in their academic subjects, as well as values such as kindness and helpfulness.
