On Saturday 22 November, Nalanda Johor Bahru Branch Free School teachers and facilitators gathered for dinner at NEO Centre, Johor Bahru. Sis. Ng Choy Hoong, the Johor Bahru Branch Free School Coordinator welcomed and thanked all teachers and facilitators for their contributions in making the Free School a success. The Free School classes started in March this year with a total of 15 classes held each week. Sis. Choy Hoong gave a slide presentation on the activities carried out this year and plans for 2015.

As the 2014 school year had come to an end, this is the occasion to pay tribute to the achievements of the students. 4 categories of awards were presented to students from each class after careful evaluation by their teachers. The awards were the “Full Attendance Award”, “Best Student Award”, “Most Improved Student Award” and the “Most Enthusiastic Learner Award”.
