On Saturday 22 October, Nalanda Free School held its annual ‘Appreciation Day’ to honour all its volunteer teachers who have lovingly given their time and effort to educate the community. The occasion also provided an opportunity for students to show their gratitude and appreciation to their teachers. Some students came up with a dance performance which greatly amused everyone present.

As the 2014 school year had come to an end, this is the occasion to pay tribute to the achievements of the students. 4 categories of awards were presented to students from each class after careful evaluation by their teachers. The awards were the “Full Attendance Award”, “Best Student Award”, “Most Improved Student Award” and the “Most Enthusiastic Learner Award”.

With 42 volunteer tutors and an enrollment of 460 students, the Free School operates 30 classes in 2012 - 6 days a week at both Nalanda Centre in Serdang and NEO Centre in Happy Garden, Kuala Lumpur.
