During Nalanda ‘Family Fun Fair’, we were glad and motivated to receive various support from our friends who came from afar. Our Kelantanese devotees comprising of 4 adults and 6 students arrived at Nalanda Centre on Friday, 7 August and helped earnestly with the preparations.

An advance party of 8 devotees came to camp at Nalanda Centre for 2 days to help with the preparations. And they did not come empty handed – together they brought along 2,000 pieces of home-made ‘tao pao’ (a local Kelantanese delicacy), 50kg of various fruits, and 300 coconuts!

Read moreA team of 12 Nalandians led by Dharma School Director Sis. Sunanda Ong left Nalanda Centre at 8.00pm this evening for an overnight train ride to Kelantan. The Nalanda team comprising 3 teachers and 9 all-boys student group will stay in Bachok, Kelantan for 5 days to conduct a Dhamma camp for local teenagers. In the meantime, Sis. Sunanda will also conduct a separate training session for Kelantanese Dhamma School volunteer-teachers.
