Dharma School Mission to Kelantan

A team of 12 Nalandians led by Dharma School Director Sis. Sunanda Ong left Nalanda Centre at 8.00pm this evening for an overnight train ride to Kelantan.  The Nalanda team comprising 3 teachers and 9 all-boys student group will stay in Bachok, Kelantan for 5 days to conduct a Dhamma camp for local teenagers.  In the meantime, Sis. Sunanda will also conduct a separate training session for Kelantanese Dhamma School volunteer-teachers.

Dharma School Students Stay-In Programme

From 10 – 13 December, 21 students from Nalanda Dharma School joined the holiday ‘Stay-in Programme’ at Nalanda Centre to learn about the importance of Nalanda’s Core Values, Buddhist culture, and to brush up our chanting skills.

Children’s Learning Camp

The Nalanda Children’s Learning Camp was held over 4 days from 25 to 28 November, and participated by primary school pupils aged 9 to 12. Following the success of the Teenager’s Learning Camp, students and facilitators of Nalanda Dharma School put in more hard-work to organise the annual camp with just a week’s interval! 62 participants spent time fruitfully at Nalanda Centre learning about love and happiness.

Meaningful Days with Beautiful Friends

With the start of year-end school break, 51 teenagers participated in a fruitful learning camp held at Nalanda Centre from 18 – 21 November.  Targeted at secondary school students from 13 to 17 years old, the participants converged from various parts of Klang Valley, Kelantan, Terengganu, Kedah, Johor, and even from Singapore.

Joyful Teenage Learning Camp

Nalanda Teenagers’ Learning Camp is in session now!  With the theme “Beautiful Friends”, this year’s camp attracted 51 participants between 13 – 17 years old, who came from the Klang Valley, Kelantan, Terengganu, Johor and Singapore.
