Thank you for a marvellous experience!

For three days, from 18 to 20 March, over 200 participants camped in Genting Highlands to discover how to “live in accordance with Dhamma” at Nalanda’s Dhamma-Living Camp 2016.  Participants were deeply inspired by the insightful Dhamma teachings, and touched by the warm friendship and hospitality of the camp volunteers.

Teenagers imbued with ‘Mettā’  

Nalanda Centre was a hive of activity from 13 to 15 March as 72 Nalanda Dhamma School students from Johor Bahru and the Klang Valley attended the ‘We are Nalandians’ Stay-in Programme.  The objectives of the programme were to (1) promote the Nalandian Spirit among students and facilitators; (2) deepening friendship; (3) learning to chant; and (4) improving meditation practice of the teenagers.

Countdown to Dhamma Living Camp

On Saturday 12 March, Nalanda Centre was abuzz with activity as preparations for the upcoming Dhamma Living Camp reached its peak.  For several weeks now, the organising committee and camp facilitators have been continuously working towards the smooth-running and success of the camp.  Hard work and high spirits have been the order of the day for the dedicated team of volunteers, who have given nothing less than their genuine commitment and joyful effort.

“Wise Reflection” learning camp

From 15 – 17 December, Nalanda Dhamma School facilitators and students jointly organised a successful camp for 68 youngsters ranging from 13 – 16 years old at Nalanda Centre, Sri Serdang.  This was the fourth and final learning camp for the year-end school holidays in 2015.

Teenagers shine at ‘Cermin Hati’ holiday camp

Nalanda Dhamma School (NDS) conducted its third holiday camp for teenagers on 8 – 10 December at Wat Sukhontharam, Tumpat in Kelantan.  It was a joint effort with Persatuan Meditasi Mettarama, Dhammarakkhita and Persatuan Peranakan Cina Kelantan (PPCK).
