During their 3-day stay in Malacca to attend the Seck Kia Eenh Temple leadership workshop, Nalandian youths took the opportunity to explore the historical city of Malacca. The quaint city centre had been inscribed by UNESCO as a ‘World Heritage Site’ in 2008, and is quite worth at least a half-day tour.
Read moreFor 4 days from 4th to 7th July, Chin Swee Caves Temple in Genting Highlands was rumbling with youthful energy as 230 young adults gathered there to attend the spirited and inspiring Dhamma-Living Camp 3. Throughout the camp, there were insightful teachings by Nalanda founder Bro. Tan on what is the ‘true potential’ of human existence. The discussions and activities galvanized participants on a journey of self-discovery for greater happiness, peace, wisdom, and liberation from ‘Dukkha’.

Read moreOn Saturday 7 May, a group of visitors from the Mahabodhi Society of India (Hyderabad Branch) dropped in at Nalanda Centre Sri Serdang for a familiarization tour. The group of a dozen elders was journeying through Malaysia and Indonesia. Upon arrival at Nalanda, they were warmly welcomed by Nalandian officers and brought on a guided building tour.

Read moreOn Saturday 27 February, a team of 10 Nalandians comprising President Sis. Evelyn, Dhamma School Director Sis. Sunanda, Sis. Joanne, and youths helped to pack food for the needy at Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) Sungai Long campus. The event was organised by the UTAR Sungai Long Buddhist Society, in collaboration with the international hunger-relief organisation, ‘Stop Hunger Now’.
