On Sunday 8 February, Nalanda Youths hosted the last session of the National Service trainees’ Programme. The session started at 2pm and prolonged for another hour till 6pm. The National Service trainees enjoyed the session very much, especially the lively sharing by Bro. Aggaphala on “How to face challenges in Society”. The trainees were motivated to face challenges and adversities in life with courage.
Read moreOn Saturday 7 February, Nalanda Youths joyfully gathered at Nalanda Youth Centre to perform spring-cleaning in preparation for the upcoming Lunar New Year. The youths started with group chanting, and thereafter proceeded to clean and repaint the Centre; all throughout working happily and harmoniously. Sadhu anumodana!

Read moreOn Sunday 7 December, students from the International Medical University (IMU) in Bukit Jalil paid a visit to Nalanda Centre, Sri Serdang. They were warmly received and hosted by Nalandian youths. The group spent 4 hours touring the facilities including Nalanda Youth Centre, Youth Library, and the Main Reference Library.
Read moreWhile youngsters nowadays relish at the prospect of ‘sleeping in’ on a public holiday, many Nalanda youths and Dharma School students answered the call to service instead on the recent Deepavali public holiday. The young Nalandians got up early on Wednesday, and arrived at Nalanda Centre ready to do clean-up. The ‘cleaning session’ was called by the office to tidy up Levels 2 and 3 in preparation for many upcoming activities at the end of October.

Read moreThroughout the past weeks, Nalandian youths have been working quietly to support the upcoming Nalanda ‘Family Fun Fair’. The youths are very much at the forefront of this fund-raising event – volunteering to operate stalls, handle visitors, and arranging logistics. Many of them are in fact ‘veterans’ of the ‘Fun Fair’, having been involved in this annual event since their Nalanda Dharma School days.

Sumana rallied youth members for a heart-warming sharing session where everyone expressed their support for Nicholas and for each other’s future plans.
