Nalandians who returned from Lunar New Year celebrations in their respective hometowns had a wonderful ‘reunion’ at Nalanda Book Café in Sri Petaling, Kuala Lumpur, on 2 February. The festive gathering saw Nalanda members and devotees from the Klang Valley, Johor Bahru and Sungai Petani congregating for the ‘soft reopening’ of the Book Café, which resumed operations after several months of renovation.

On Tuesday 24 January, the New Year ‘couplet’ was unveiled before the start of evening chanting in the Shrine Hall at Nalanda Centre. It was indeed a lively and cheerful event for devotees in Sri Serdang.

On 23 October, Nalanda Kuala Lumpur Branch organised a family trip for its members to Taman Putra Perdana in Putrajaya. Sixty-four Nalandians and their family members, including students from the Dhamma School, took part in the outing.
