This week marks the 10th anniversary of the devastating Indian Ocean Tsunami which struck on 26 December 2004. On that fateful morning, a massive earthquake triggered an equally ruinous Tsunami – causing immense loss of lives throughout coastal areas rimming the Indian Ocean. More than 230,000 people were killed; and 2 million more were displaced. Many families lost their livelihood and every material thing they owned.
