Tea-Offering Ceremony

During this Chinese New Year celebrations, let us come together to express our gratitude and appreciation to our loved ones.  The annual Tea-Offering Ceremony hosted by Nalanda Dhamma School, will take place on Sunday 9 February after the morning service and Dhamma talk.  We invite you and your loved ones to come together for this endearing tradition.  All are welcome.

Sunday Morning Service & Dhamma talk by Sis. Sunanda Ong

We welcome you back to Nalanda Centre after the Chinese New Year holidays for the Sunday Morning Service to learn with good spiritual friends.  The service features a Dhamma talk by Sis. Sunanda Ong on the importance of gratitude, as well as its benefits.  The service will be followed by the annual Tea-Offering Ceremony, hosted by Nalanda Dhamma School.  We invite you and your family to join this endearing tradition. Family Dhamma School’s first tea ceremony

On Sunday 25 February, Nalanda Family Dhamma School held its inaugural tea-offering ceremony in conjunction with the Lunar New Year. This year, we welcome 26 registered families with over 80 parents, children and facilitators come together for Dhamma learning and practice.

Bountiful joy & gratitude at tea-ceremony

Nalanda Dhamma School marked the start of their 2024 year with a tea-ceremony on Sunday, 25 February.  The day started with communal chanting before forming individual learning groups – Bro. Tan Siang Chye delivered a talk on parenting based on the Buddha’s teachings, Bro. Disheng delivered a talk to the Youths on the duties of a child to their parents, while the Dhamma School conducted their sessions with the teenage and junior students.
