Spirited Nalandians gathering at Nalanda Centre tonight to usher in the New Year.

2015 had been a great year for Nalanda.  In the past 12 months, we witnessed the opening of Nalanda Centre annex building and NEO Centre Sungai Petani, as well as the initiation of ‘Wisdom Park’ – the first integrated Buddhist educational facility in Malaysia.  We are full of gratitude and appreciation for all the support rendered to us for the completion of vital Dhamma-learning facilities, and for the hosting of many impactful programmes and successful events.

With so many developments taking place, 2015 was certainly full of challenges; but it was also full of the overcoming of them.  Life’s experience has indeed made us grow stronger and become better.  We would like to thank our generous benefactors, donors, volunteers and supporters for journeying with us on this gradual path of offering quality Buddhist education.  Nalandians look forward to 2016 with high spirits as we embark on the way ahead with faith, courage and determination.

Let us be grateful for all the blessings we have experienced in the past year, and be determined to live wisely in the year ahead. Nalanda Buddhist Society wishes everyone a ‘Joyful New Year’!  May all beings be well and happy always.
