WACANA 2017 Buddhist Conference successfully concluded yesterday (1 July) with much rejoicing and compliments from the speakers, participants, and volunteers.  We are grateful to devotees who came from all over Malaysia, as well as participants from Singapore, Indonesia, Hong Kong, India, Sri Lanka, and Australia, to take part in the high-spirited Conference.  Thank you for your enthusiastic support!

Nalanda Institute and the Theravāda Buddhist Council of Malaysia, the joint organisers of WACANA 2017, would like to thank all distinguished speakers, moderators, venerable monks and nuns, participants, sponsors, and all volunteers for making it possible for us to organise this largest Malaysian Buddhist Conference of 2017.

Let us continue to learn, practise, and realise the wisdom of Buddha-Dhamma, and strengthen our understanding and faith towards it.  Also, in the spirit of WACANA, let us work in concerted efforts as ONE Buddhist community to preserve and propagate the authentic Buddha-Word for the welfare and happiness of the multitude.  Sadhu anumodana!
