The last day of ‘Centenary Celebrations’

The last day of ‘Centenary Celebrations’

17 March 2019 marks the last day of the year-long ‘K. Sri Dhammananda Centenary Celebrations’ which brought Buddhists across Malaysia together to celebrate the life and contributions of the late Venerable K. Sri Dhammananda (1918 – 2006).  The Centenary Celebrations was launched exactly a year ago on 17 March 2018 at the Buddhist Mahā Vihara, Kuala Lumpur.

We thank the Organising Committee and participating organisations for conducting memorable and meaningful programmes to honour Venerable Dhammananda, including seminars, novitiate programme, etc.  The highlight of the celebration was the launching of ‘K. Sri Dhammananda Centre’ in Sri Serdang in October last year.

We are ever grateful for the selfless contributions of Dhamma teachers such as Venerable Dhammananda, for the benefit of generations today and in the future. Sadhu anumodana!
