In conjunction with Nalanda Buddhist Society’s 11th Anniversary, Nalandians from all over the country gathered at Nalanda Centre to participate in the inaugural National Members’ Convention from 1 – 3 May.

Members from Johor, Kedah and Penang began to arrive in Sri Serdang on the eve of the Convention (on 30 April) to join the celebrations.  The first day was filled with many touching personal sharing by Nalandians about their good spiritual friends.  Bro. Tan then gave a moving and rousing talk about what it means to be a good practitioner and friend.

Everyone spent a wonderful time together at dinner, with many more inspiring moments – from speeches, to performances, to poetry recitals.  It was indeed a fitting tribute to an instrumental organization filled with inspirational people!  Sadhu anumodana.
