From 10 – 12 February, Nalanda Buddhist Society participated in the Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) Buddhist Carnival held at its Sungai Long Campus, Kajang.  Enthusiastic Nalandians were at the campus early to set up an information booth and to lend their support to the Carnival.  They actively engaged with the UTAR students who streamed through the different exhibits and activities.

Besides Nalanda, other national Buddhist organisations such as Fo Guang Shan, Tzu Chi Foundation and the Young Buddhist Association Malaysia were also there to support and share information with the students.

Director of Nalanda Dharma School, Sis. Sunanda gave an inspiring Dhamma sharing on the “Four Bases of Social Harmony”.  She spoke about the way to live in harmony with other people by practising generosity, uttering kind words, and performing services for others.

The 3-day Buddhist Carnival concluded joyfully for everyone.  We thank UTAR Buddhist Society for their kind invitation to Nalanda.  Sadhu anumodana!
