Ven. Cunda and Ajahn Bodhidhaja visit Wisdom Park

Members welcome venerable monks to Wisdom Park.

On Sunday 31 March, we welcomed Ven. Cunda and Ajahn Bodhidhaja to Wisdom Park for a short visit.  Both monks are from Bodhinyana Monastery in Western Australia and had just conducted meditation retreats in Johor Bahru and Klang Valley.  An opportune meeting, participants of the 2nd National Camp for Dhamma School Teachers warmly greeted venerable sirs and listened carefully to their words of advice.

Children are always keen to learn and it is our role as Dhamma School teachers to facilitate their learning.  We can tailor our methods so that we do not just impart knowledge and tap into their natural abilities to discern what is wholesome or otherwise.  This allows students to better relate and understand the underlying values, in order to develop their virtues.

Ven. Cunda and Ajahn Bodhidhaja expressed their joy in seeing the high spirits of so many Dhamma School teachers who proactively take steps to enhance their own development.  They also rejoiced in the utilisation of Wisdom Park for Dhamma propagation, a valuable contribution towards  the prolongation of Buddha-Sasana.  We thank venerable sirs for their kind visit, and wish them good health and success in their noble endeavours.  Sadhu.
