Ven. Sanghasena was invited to Nalanda Centre for a Dhamma Talk, "Compassion in Action".

On Wednesday 6 November, the most Venerable Sanghasena Mahathero from Mahabodhi International Meditation Centre (MIMC) in Ladakh, India, visited Nalanda Centre together with 4 staff members.  The party was earlier received at Nalanda House, where Ven. Sanghasena had a meeting with Ven. Aggacitta Mahathero (Abbot of Sasanārakkha Buddhist Sanctuary in Taiping) and Sayadaw U Kevala of Myanmar.

In the evening, Ven. Sanghasena was invited to give a talk themed “Compassion in Action”.  Venerable spoke to a packed hall of appreciative devotees, and highlighted a few projects he had undertaken for the people of Ladakh.

On behalf of Nalandian devotees, Bro.Tan offered words of felicitation and best wishes for Ven. Sanghasena’s good work for the Ladakhi people and Buddhist communities in India.  Bro.Tan also presented gifts of books and a donation to MIMC headed by Ven. Sanghasena.  Sadhu anumodana!
