On Sunday 23 November, 8 members from 3 Buddhist organisations in Kedah – Young Buddhist Association Malaysia (Kedah Liaison Committee), Gurun Buddhist Association and Guar Chempedak Buddhist Society – made a study visit to Nalanda Centre, Sri Serdang.  The visitors participated in the pūja and chanting at our Service Sunday; after which they were brought on a tour of Nalanda Centre and Nalanda Youth Centre.  Our Kedahan visitors were impressed with the peaceful ambience and functionality of the Centre.

A dialogue between Nalanda officers and our guests were held to promote better understanding of Buddhist education.  The visitors were later brought to NEO Centre Happy Garden, where they met with the Management Committee of Nalanda’s Kuala Lumpur Branch.

This visit has strengthened the friendship and bonding between Nalandians and our friends from Kedah.  We thank you for visiting Nalanda Centre.  With the upcoming completion of our building extension project, we look forward to hosting more local and foreign Buddhist groups soon.
