Since its inception in 1969, Magnum Group has been committed to fulfilling its social responsibility by being a caring and responsible corporate citizen. Magnum also believes in involving Malaysian youths and empowering them to make a difference by initiating community-related projects.
Recently, under “MagnumCares” Youth In Charge 2014 Programme, Malaysian youths have been invited to produce and submit short films that highlight the plight of local charity homes. (Magnum Cares webpage: http://www.magnumcares.my)
Nalandian youths – Bro. Andrew Tan, Bro. Gan Jia Cheng, and Sis. Tan Ee Yean – have produced a video for “Pusat Jagaan Siddharthan, PJ”, and submitted it to “MagnumCares” for review. We are happy to announce that their video is among five shortlisted for voting!
We need your help to VOTE FOR their video “Hope”, produced by Bro. Andrew Tan! The winning video will get a donation of RM10,000 channeled to the charity home, and RM9,000 to the participating team. Magnum will also sponsor the production cost of 500 DVDs for the charity home’s (i.e. “Pusat Jagaan Siddharthan, PJ”) promotion video.
Voting period is from 18 – 31 August (this Sunday). You may vote at MagnumCares’ Facebook Page via http://statictab.com/od546hm
The Judging Criteria: 70% of the marks given by judges, 30% from public voting. The winning video will serve as a tool to introduce what the charity home does and how that charity helps the community. Come, do your bit to help out and select the best short video, as well as vote for a better community! Thank you.
