The EXCO meeting on Tuesday, 24 April to finalise preparations for the annual convention.

This afternoon, we will be welcoming Nalandians back to our ‘spiritual home’ at Nalanda Centre for our 6th National Members’ Convention.  This year’s convention will be the biggest yet, with 61% of members able to attend the 4-day gathering, many coming from as far as Kedah and Johor.

The theme for 2018 is “Buddhist Mission and Motivation” where we explore what the right principles and driving forces are when we serve the Buddha-Sāsana.

Preparations for the Convention began 3 months ago; the various units in charge of programmes, logistics, meals, and venue were hard at work in the last few days to ensure everything is well-prepared.  Some groups had last-minute meetings to coordinate their roles and duties.
